Beauty Box 5 March 2017 Review

Beauty Box 5 is primarily a beauty sampling subscription that delivers a box filled with at least five cosmetic samples every month. The BB5 goal is to introduce people to new cosmetic products and educate them on all the most successful beauty tips. Beauty Box 5 scours the market to find the best products; subscribers receive a mixture of luxury, recognizable, niche and even vegan brands that cater to every skin type. Beauty Box 5 also has a huge online shop overflowing with cosmetics and beauty products along with fun beauty bundles and a robust sale section.

Be Dramatic!
This month’s Lash Bash box includes:

  • Manna Kadar Lash Primer retail: $15.00
  • Prestige Cosmetics True Metals Eyeshadow retail: $9.75
  • Sweep Lash Helper retail: $9.99
  • Bellapierre Cosmetic Glitter retail: $15.00
  • Sweep Lashes retail: $15.00 (Set of 5)

This was my first experience with Beauty Box 5.  The tiny box that comes in the mail is deceiving.  It’s packed with 5 full size and deluxe sample products.  Four of the products this month were full size!  Well worth the price of the monthly subscription.

Now, I am probably the last person who would ever wear fake eyelashes, but I have to say, this box rocks if you do.  It contains a full 5pk of lashes, AND a helper tool.  The lashes can be trimmed to size. Them and tool come from a company called Sweep.

Also in the box is lash Primer from Manna Kadar.  Years ago when I wore mascara, I would have LOVED this product.  I never liked black, brown, or blue mascaras, and the one clear mascara I did find didn’t last.  This primer is so much better.  It’s thick yet not not goopy. It’s actually a base coat for before your mascara, but I like it plain.  It prepares your lashes so your mascara doesn’t flake.

Also included in the box is a full-size True Metals eye shadow in the color of pewter.  You can apply this wet with your finger, or dry with a brush. A metallic foiled finish.

The last item in the box is cosmetic glitter that can be applied with a mixing medium, or directly to skin, eyelids, hair, lips, and even in your bubble bath. The color I received is copper.  I love the copper color. It’s ultra fine.

Overall, I’m really impressed with this box.  If all boxes are like this one, and you love new beauty products, I totally recommend this one.  At $12 a month (or less if you buy a 6 or 12 mo sub), it’s totally worth it.

Beauty Box 5 is both a subscription box, and an online store.
